The Eagles held their first ever annual Player of the Year awards night on Friday 3rd October at the Windmill Hill Gold Club in Milton Keynes.
The winners of the trophies, and engraved sterling silver pocket watches were:
Players Player of the Year – Gareth ‘Tish’ Pullen and Darren Gregory.
Most Valuable Player – Chris Parr
Offensive MVP – Dale Hawes
Defensive MVP – Darren Gregory
Lineman of the Year – Andy Larwill
Rookie of the Year – John Rudgard
Most Improved Player – Vasco Dias
Club Chairman Neale McMaster said “It’s great to be able to get together and celebrate our inaugural season. We achieved every goal we set out for this year, get through the season and be competitive in all games and make the playoffs.”
“We’re here tonight to celebrate all the players and staff and their accomplishments through the season, and to reward those outstanding performances.”
The club would like to thank Mark and Jenny Chilton for organizing the event and providing and outstanding buffet, and also the Windmill Hill Golf Club, for being such welcoming hosts.
