2015 Schedule Announced

The league have confirmed the 2015 regular season schedule, which sees the Eagles kick off with an away game on Easter Sunday, 5^th April against divisional rival the Cambridgeshire Cats. Cambridgeshire posted a 2-6 record in the Premiership South last year, and both sides will be looking to get off to the best possible start in a very competitive looking Southern Conference.

Next up is the first home game of the season a week later (Sunday 12^th April) against another divisional rival, the newly rebranded Hertfordshire Cheetahs. The Cheetahs went undefeated in the regular season in 2014 only to fall at the first hurdle in the play-offs, and will come into the new season determined to build on last year’s success.

Away games against two former Premiership teams follow in the shape of the Birmingham Bulls (Sunday 26^th April) and Colchester Gladiators (Sunday 17^th May) before the Eagles return to BIAS for back-to-back home games on Sunday 7^th and Sunday 14^th June, against Farnham Knights and East Kent Mavericks respectively.

The Eagles travel to the south coast on Sunday 28^th June for a rematch of last season’s quarter final with Solent Thrashers, and finish off the regular season with return games at home against Cambridgeshire Cats (Sunday 5^th July) and Birmingham Bulls (Sunday 26^th July) and away to Hertfordshire Cheetahs (Sunday 9^th August).

Commenting on the schedule, Eagles chairman Neale McMaster said: “I’m delighted to finally be able to announce our fixtures for what I’m sure will be a very tough 2015 season. Starting the season off with our two biggest rivalry games is critical for the team; wins there will set us up nicely going into two games against former premiership opposition. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what the team can produce this year.”
